June 2-July 9-2017
North Central College presents a group show featuring members of Naperville Art League. The exhibit is free and open to the public through July 9 in the College’s Schoenherr Gallery at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave.
The exhibit will showcase selected two and three-dimensional art pieces in a variety of media from more than 30 local artists who belong to the Naperville Art League. Through art instruction, programs, workshops and exhibits, NAL dedicates itself to providing art education as well as raising awareness and appreciation of the arts for the cultural enhancement of the community
A nonprofit organization, NAL has been inspiring passion in the arts in the community for more than 50 years. Members include both professional and emerging artists as well as hobbyists. Some are formally trained while others are self-taught. In 2009, NAL and North Central joined forces for the first summer exhibit on campus, and the relationship between the College, community and the arts has continued to flourish.
Schoenherr Art Gallery is in the Wentz Concert Hall and Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave., Naperville, IL, 60540.
