Storytelling-the very premise behind Ramon Nayar's work in creative writing, photography and film-is anchored on words and images. He believe words and images, especially when assembled to complement each other ad support an idea and/or unlock new ideas, is what powerful storytelling offers to move the heart and mind.

Brookes sees the world as layers of structure and surface which have resulted in PULSE and SLANT. These two related series of works are made of frame-lie boxes constructed of wood and canvas and filled with sculptural structures and mixed media materials. They are in essence wall sculptures that create a strong architectural presence.
